I left Zaragoza, arrival to Córdoba

patio cordoba

This morning we left (with meskio) to the Hacktivism caravan and we arrived to Córdoba a few hours ago. First place we’ve visited is Juan XXIII and I couldn’t resist to take a picture of its traditional courtyard. Too tired today, more to see and to show tomorrow. BTW I began blogging again ! =)

Lyrics for the bus

there’s a look on your face i would like to knock out
see the sin in your grin and the shape of your mouth
all i want is to see you in terrible pain
though we won’t ever meet i remember your name
can’t believe you were once just like anyone else
then you grew and became like the devil himself
pray to god i can think of a nice thing to say
but i don’t think i can, so fuck you anyway
you are scum, you are scum and i hope that you know
that the cracks in your smile are beginning to show
now the world needs to see that it’s time you should go
there’s no light in your eyes and your brain is too slow
can’t believe you were once just like anyone else
then ou grew and became like the devil himself
pray to god i can think of a nice thing to say
but i don’t think i can, so fuck you anyway
bet you sleep like a child with your thumb in your mouth
i could creep up beside put a gun in your mouth
makes me sick when i hear all the shit that you say
so much crap coming out, it must take you all day
there’s a space left in hell with your name on the seat
with a spike on the chair just to make it complete
when you look at yourself, do you see what i see ?
if you do, why the fuck are you looking at me ?

why the fuck are you looking at me ?
why the fuck, why the fuck are you looking at me ?

there’s a time for us all and i think yours has been
can you please hurry up cos i find you obscene
we can’t wait for the days that you’re never around
when that face isn’t here and you rot underground
can’t believe you were once just like anyone lese
then you grew and became like the devil himself
pray to god i can think of a nice thing to say
but i don’t think i can, so fuck you anyway

so fuck you anyway
so fuck you anyway…

I found it in bashflyng’s last.fm profile, it’s perfect for coming back home after studying … Archive - Fuck U.

We were in California

By the end of November Soraya, Isaac, Quique and me travelled to California: San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Yosemite Park …

One of the days we rented a car and visited Sillicon Valley. Oracle HQ are just leaving SF on the left but we just saw them from the highway, our first stop was Stanford University. There we had a guided tour around the campus, we bought some stuff at the shop and left to Googleplex where we met David (Isaac’s friend from Wesnoth), who’s working there. A quick but really cool visit, mostly outdoors thru we had lunch there, at Google. What I could say … amazing

At Google

Next stop was Apple HQ at Cupertino, ~15min by car from Googleplex. Infinite Loop is the street around the main building, I’d had liked to loop around it by car twice or more but we almost crashed just arriving so we walked =). After Apple we tried to find a geek shop we found on the Internet but in it’s place it was a weird chinese organization on heart health and then it was to late to go to Yahoo! What a pitty ! :-( …

I promise to blog more on this (and other travels), but at least, you can see the pictures.

Art from Brussels

As you already know, this summer I’ve been in Brussels (yeah, I know I’ve a lot to blog …). Modern Art from this city is well-know worldwide, so I had a great oportunity to give Soraya a different present for her birthday. A walk through the city with the very very useful use-it map (thanks meskio) took me to the ALICE shop which cames from Artists Living In Constant Elevation. Hehe with this so-cool name I expected a very cool place, and yes, it is: prints, books, t-shirts, accesorries, gadgets …

I finally choose a couple of prints of Krsn:

rouge & vert

Summer @ Brussels

It’s a week since Soraya and me were are in Brussels working for JADE - European Confederation of Junior Enterprises, I hope to blog more about that in the next days.

This is a nice city, see wikitravel or the wikipedia but I hope to discover more about it with the help of maemo-mapper, that’s why I was looking forward geoinfo about Brussels and I found belgeoblog, where you can download nice POI of Belgium. I wish we could have MetrO public transports database integrated in OSM.

By the way, is there any local geek group here in Brussels ? or any Debian fan who would like to share a great belgian beer ? :-)
